On January 16, 2016, the Startup India Initiative was launched. Since then, it has grown in popularity in India. The government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has launched a number of initiatives aimed at assisting entrepreneurs, creating a robust startup ecosystem, and changing India into a country of job creators rather than job seekers. Startups that match the definition given in G.S.R. Notification 127(E) are eligible to apply for recognition under the Startup India Action Plan.
Your company must first be formed as a Private Limited Company, a Partnership Firm, or a Limited Liability Partnership. You must complete all of the standard steps for registering a business, including filing an application and receiving a Certificate of Incorporation/Partnership Registration.
The company must then be registered as a startup. The entire procedure is straightforward and can be completed online. Click the 'Register' button on the Startup India website.
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Recognition is the next step after creating a profile on the Startup India website. Log on to the Startup India website with your registered profile (account) credentials to receive DPIIT Recognition.
You must fill out the 'Startup Recognition Form' with information such as the entity's name, full address (office), authorised representative's name, directors/name, partner's required information, startup activities, and self-certification.
Your startup will be assigned a recognition number when you apply. The certificate of recognition will be granted after all of your documents have been examined, which normally takes 2 days after you submit your information online.
Our trained staff make registering as a startup a breeze. However, you may concentrate on your core competencies as Legal Birbal assists you from start to finish, from incorporation to startup recognition.
The startup India scheme allows entities incorporated as a Private Limited Company, Partnership Firm, or Limited Liability Partnership to register. These businesses must have an annual turnover of less than Rs.100 crores and have been in operation for at least ten years from the date of incorporation/registration.
Because the location selections are currently only created for Indian states, any organisation with at least one registered office in India can register on the hub.
You will receive a system-generated certificate of recognition after the application is complete and the startup is recognised. This certificate can be downloaded from the Startup India website.
After 10 years from the date of incorporation/registration, or if its preceding year's turnover surpasses one hundred crore rupees, an organisation ceases to be a Startup.
